The Clearwater Bay Golf & Country Club was officially inaugurated on 16 December 1982. Although the grand vision to build this three in one facility comprising country club, golf and marina facilities actually originated in the mid-1960s. It is considered a non-profit organization. Construction was not completed on the club until the mid 1990's.

18 hole full course; 9-hole Executive Course
The Course:
The Clearwater Bay Golf and Country Club is laid out on a small peninsula of land just outside Hong Kong City. The golf course was originally designed in the early 1980s, but was completely redesigned in 2006 providing an 18 hole links style championship course and a 9 hole executive course.
The course uses Bermudagrass (Tifeagle) on the greens and Zoysia on tees, fairways and rough. The greens are standard USGA construction, while the remainder of the course lies on the indigenous mixture of clay, rock and sand.
The course offers tremendous views of the surrounding Bay and Landscape.
